I had a MFPS reader, Brianna, shoot me an email about a site her hubby works for, Provision RX. It is a non-profit organization which works with healthcare providers across the country to offer huge discounts on healthcare, prescriptions, etc. It is particularly helpful for those with little or no insurance and/or those whose insurance will not cover all the cost of medicines and equipment (those with diabetes, for instance).

You can visit his website and download a free card to use at most pharmacies and healthcare providers. There are some other benefits to using the card which are noted on the site but just for healthcare and prescriptions, this card saves people thousands each year, and there is never a cost associated with use of the card.

1. Go to the site here.
2. Scroll down and click on the card image.
3. You may to print as many cards as you like. (You can even print out some for friends/family.)
4. There is also a link to find pharmacies in your area (this is accepted at Walmart, Kmart, Walgreens and many others) and other links on the left about other money savers using the card.
