Step 1. Using a Sharpie, draw some spooky/silly faces on clean milk jugs.
Step 2. Color in the faces, or let your kids do it (if they are old enough to color in the lines AND use a sharpie.)
Step 3. Cut a hole in the lower backside of the jug, about the size of an Oreo.
Step 4. Line your jugs up along your walkway and use a string of white Christmas lights to illuminate your jugs.
(Thanks Eighteen 25! )

The Dating Divas have a set of free printables for attaching to snack items. This is an easy way to create great memories for your hubby and/or kids! I LOVE doing things like this! (P.S. If you switch the wording a little, these are perfect for visiting teaching treats if you’re a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as well!)

Customized Father’s Gift Freebie Craft

Simply Seleta has a cute idea over HERE. It’s for a Hero Box, filled with all sorts of candies, snacks, etc. that are labeled with Hero labels. She gives you the templates to download and customize. It’s all in a wooden box (I’m thinking Michael’s or JoAnn probably has these). You could also add ‘Daddy Coupons’ such as ‘Redeem this coupon for one yard mowing’ to it for something a little more long term. Men LOVE to know they’re our kids’ heroes, so this is perfect!
Another idea is to ‘interview’ your child – if they’re old enough. Two is okay as long as they’re pretty verbal. Ask them questions about their dad. The answers are so cute. You can type up all the questions and answers in different fonts and colors in a word document. Then print and take it to Kinko’s to get it laminated, punch holes in the top and tie a ribbon through it for hanging in his office. Here’s an example if you’d like to use it for a template (all of the fonts may not transfer, so you’ll have to use your own). This is only about $2 for the cost of laminating. Or, you could frame it.
One more idea is to get a ‘grilling apron’ and put your kids handprints on it with the year and their names under each one. Use your 50% off Michaels coupon to grab yours!
Here’s to a wonderful Father’s Day with all of our Super-Hero Dads!
Dad’s Coupons

DisneyFamily.com has a super cute Father’s day gift. You can download a free template, so you can print out a Daddyland Coupon Book, which would be perfect for your kids to give to their Dad. I’m keeping this up because you could use this booklet for other days than just Father’s Day.
